Card Payment Introduction

Bank card payment, or card payment for short, is a payment method based on bank card pieces, widely used in modern society for online or offline payment.

1. PayerMax Supported Decks

PayerMax supports international card groups Visa, MasterCard, JCB; as well as local card groups covering different countries such as Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Brazil and so on. For information on countries supported by different card brands, currency of order, minimum transaction amount, etc., please check Payment Method List.

2. Card Payment Security

In order to safeguard the security of card payments and avoid fraud caused by the leakage of card information, card organizations have strict security requirements for the card payment process, including:

  • PCI DSS: A data environment that regulates the collection, processing, storage or transmission of card information. For more information, see the PCI DSS Compliance Guide .

  • 3DS Certification: Regulates cardless transactions under online payments, provides additional verification processes, and differentiates liability for payment fraud. For more information view 3DS Certification .

The PayerMax payment system is PCI DSS certified and enables card payments regardless of whether the merchant is PCI DSS qualified or not. For an overview of the PCI DSS qualification requirements for different integration modes of card payments, please see Integration Modes Overview .

3. Tokenization Card Payment

With the PayerMax payment system, you can store card element information (e.g. card number, CVV, expiration date, etc.) for each card for each shopper in the form of tokens (Token) in the PayerMax system with the shopper's consent. In this way, when the user subsequently uses the card to make a payment, he or she can complete the payment without transmitting the card element information, but only the Token.

The use of Token-based card payment can simplify the user payment process and improve the success rate of payment. For more information about using Token to complete payment under card payment, please refer to Tokenization.

In addition, for merchants who do not have PCI qualification but want to integrate pure API payment, they can use Tokenization to realize card payment.

4. Payment Based on Referral Card

When a user successfully completes a card payment, PayerMax saves the information about the card used by the user for that payment. When the user pays next time, the PayerMax cashier page will show all the cards (in the form of card number masks) that the user has paid successfully in history. For saved cards, the user only needs to enter the CVV when making a payment, thus avoiding the need to enter complete card element information such as card number, expiration date, CVV, cardholder name, etc., as is the case when paying with a new card.

Payments based on referral cards can simplify user operations and increase the success rate of payments. However, not all integration modes support referral cards:
